1.China's borosilicate glass

              Characteristics: 10%-15% boron oxide, strong temperature difference resistance (-20℃ to 150℃), high chemical corrosion resistance, no heavy metals such as lead and cadmium
              Purpose: Suitable for making tea, such as Fuguang and Mijia's frequent alternating hot and cold scenes, etc.

      2. Soda Lime Glass in China

             Characteristics: The main components are silica, sodium oxide and calcium oxide. They are cheap but have poor heat resistance. They are prone to cracking after cooling and heat. 

             Purpose: For daily cold water cups or Wantong water cups that require tempering, avoid pouring boiling water directly.

       3. China's crystal glass

          Characteristics: It is divided into two types: lead-containing and lead-free. Lead-containing crystal has a high refractive index but may precipitate lead (especially in contact with acidic liquids). Lead-free crystal is safer for 

           Purpose: high-end wine glasses or decorative vessels. It is recommended to choose lead-free crystal for drinking.

      4. Tempered glass in China

          Characteristics: The strength is enhanced by heat treatment, and the damage is reduced when ruptured, but the temperature difference resistance is weak, 1000-high borosilicate glass. 

          Purpose: For outdoor activities or children's tableware, it is necessary to avoid sudden changes in high temperatures.

       Purchase suggestions

      Safety priority: Choose lead-free and cadmium-free materials (such as borosilicate glass or lead-free crystal glass).

      Heat resistance needs: High borosilicate glass is preferred when frequently loading hot water or when the temperature difference is large.

     Cost-effectiveness: Soda lime glass can be considered for daily use, but preheating should be paid attention to preventing cracks.
